Can I still buy R410A in the EU? ▼
Yes — R410A remains legal to purchase and use for servicing existing installations. The phase-out applies to new equipment, not to maintenance of systems already in operation. Toretto supplies R410A for service and maintenance purposes.
Can R410A be replaced by R32 in existing systems? ▼
No — R32 is not a drop-in replacement for R410A. Systems designed for R410A cannot simply be recharged with R32. If you are replacing an R410A system, install new equipment designed specifically for R32.
What is the difference between R410A and R407C? ▼
R410A operates at higher pressures and is designed for modern high-efficiency systems. R407C operates at lower pressures and was used as a replacement for R22 in older systems. The two are not interchangeable.
Which cylinder size is right for my system? ▼
For single residential units we recommend 800g or 2kg cylinders. For commercial multi-split systems, 10kg cylinders are more economical. Contact us for bulk pricing.
